I am an experienced post secondary professional instructor with over seven years of experience. I have taught and/or currently teach a variety of subjects. I am an experienced post secondary professional instructor with over seven years of experience. I have taught and/or currently teach a variety of subjects. Courses taught are U.S. History, Classical Civilization I & II, Political Science, History of Art I & II, Ethics,History of Popular Graphic Literature,The Cold War, Harlem Renaissance, History of Chicago, Information Literacy,Cultural Diversity, Literature and Film, and College Success. Additionally, I have experience as a Faculty Coach/Mentor and GED Examiner.

I believe in making the learning process fun and exciting for my students. I utilize a real world approach in conveying lessons and provide encouragement and feedback to help my students succeed.I succeed when my students accomplish their educational goals. I understand what it takes as I am currently a fourth year PhD student myself.
