“**Extremely knowledgeable**”

I recently graduated from Michigan State University with a master's in industrial math. Before beginning graduate studies I worked in primary education in a bilingual school in Madrid, Spain. While completing my master, I was a lecturer for calculus courses and tutored for the university's Math Learning Center along with private students.

Victoria is an excellent tutor, she has an superior understanding of math concepts, with a talent of explaining them in basic term to a novice like me. I am eager to continue my sessions with her , confident that I will pass my course while enjoying learning math again.

Victoria was punctual, a great listener and provided great instruction. She was warm and friendly, encouraging me to ask even the most simplistic questions with no judgement. Her knowledge of statistics was exceptional. She was able to give me the confidence I needed to understand and apply the material accurately and correctly.

I would recommend her for any of the subjects she tutors. I will continue to use her services in the future.

GMAT, Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have an M.S. in mathematics and experience teaching and tutoring it from algebra up to advanced college-level topics.

I have a master's in mathematics and several years of tutoring/teaching experience.

I have a master in industrial math and have taught calculus at Michigan State University.

I have taken (and passed) the first year Ph.D. sequence of econometrics at Michigan State University as well as cross-sectional and panel data econometrics. My M.S. is in mathematics, a field that forms the foundation for econometrics.

I have a graduate degree in mathematics, am familiar with some common math ed. concepts, and have tutored elementary math both privately and at Michigan State University.

I have a graduate degree in mathematics and have taught/tutored various levels of math.

I have an advanced degree in mathematics and tutored at Michigan State University's Math Learning Center while I was in grad school. I've tutored this subject there some and also tutored it occasionally while I was an undergraduate myself. It's one of my all-time favorite courses (it's a toss up between linear and "discrete" math, which covers combinatorics, proof techniques, and logic) and I find it easier to motivate students in this subject because it's relevant to so many different fields (Many of the concepts from linear algebra are used frequently in econometrics, numerical analysis, data mining, physics, and engineering).

I have a master in an interdisciplinary applied field (industrial math) that required me to take statistics courses for which R was necessary. I used R as an undergrad for a calculus-based probability and statistics sequence and I also use the language regularly for my full-time job as a modeler and analyst. I have background knowledge of computer science and object-oriented programming that gives me an edge over individuals who can only program in one languageāI tend to think of general methods when coding and then determine what the best approach is in the particular language (e.g. R). Furthermore, my graduate degree gave me knowledge of some of the advanced statistical methods available in R packages and I can explain both theoretical (i.e. statistical) and applied (or computer science-related) aspects of R. Sample code is available upon request.

I completed a B.A. in Spanish, and received a grant from the Spanish government to work in a bilingual elementary in Madrid for two years.

I possess a MS in related field (applied math), and successfully completed graduate-level coursework in statistics and econometrics.
