I am currently an undergraduate student at Wayne State University, majoring in Neuroscience. My academic background gives me a strong foundation in math, reading, and science, and I enjoy sharing what I’ve learned in ways that are simple and easy for children to understand.
I have experience working with children in grades K–6, including those who may need extra support or who learn differently, such as students with ADHD. I love kids and believe every child deserves to feel confident and successful in their learning. My approach is very patient and encouraging — I take the time to break down concepts into smaller steps and use positive reinforcement to keep children motivated. I also adjust my teaching style based on how each child learns best, whether that’s through practice problems, visuals, or interactive activities.
My goal as a tutor is not only to improve grades but also to help children develop confidence and a love for learning. I know how important it is for parents to feel that their child is supported, and I always strive to create a safe, positive, and fun learning environment. Whether your child needs help catching up in reading, math, or simply building better study skills, I am dedicated to helping them reach their goals while making learning a positive experience.
