Hello, I am 23 years old and graduated from Michigan State University in May 2020 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In order to earn this degree, I completed Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Calculus 3, and Differential Equations. I received an A in all college math classes. Additionally, I worked at the Math Learning Center at MSU, tutoring college students (ages varied from 18 to older adults) in College Algebra and Calculus classes. I became a Teaching Assistant for Calculus 1 my Junior year of college as well, teaching my own recitation classes for students twice a week. I have 2+ years experience tutoring and teaching math.
Furthermore, I was a camp counselor at Cranbrook Schools and a tennis instructor in the summers of 2016 and 2017 (ages 10-12). I love helping others and will be patient while doing so. I have experience with different age groups and a passion for math. I am proud watching students improve their skills, especially with math. My tutoring approach includes many practice problems as well as ensuring the student understands the overall lesson. "Perfect practice makes perfect!"
I prefer to tutor virtually, using "Whiteboard" as a way to complete practice problems with the student. Please contact me if you are interested in starting tutoring sessions :)
