I am a PhD student in Statistics and Machine Learning at Michigan State University (Fall 2018). I have a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Oakland University, with university and departmental honors.

During my time in university, I tutored both privately from grades 2 through the university level, and also for Oakland University's Tutoring Center. I tutored subjects such as arithmetic, statistics, algebra (middle school level), algebra I, algebra II, Trigonometry/pre-calculus, and calculus I-III, Discrete Mathematics/Mathematical Logic. Beyond individual tutoring, I also have experience with groups. I was a supplemental instructor at Oakland University. As an instructor, I held daily/weekly workshops in which I oversaw and helped an entire class (10-75+ students at a time) with problem sets, practice exams, quizzes, etc.

I am able to teach mathematics, and mathematical subjects very well, and help others understand the complicated concepts very easily. This can be seen in a couple highlighted cases from my past experiences.
I tutored a visually impaired student privately for the university for two semesters. He needed quite a bit of extra care and assistance. The result was that his grades improved by over 30%. I also tutored a student at the university of the autism spectrum, which required me to have a lot of patience, and adapt to the way he learned. He also saw great success over the semesters that we worked together.

If anyone is interested in online tutoring, I am able to do this as well. It would work very similar to a personal meeting, I connect online with you and we discuss matters, concepts, problems, etc. then you simply pay me for our time together. I will have a board to work on, tools and other things.
