Hi! I’m Aarya — a 2025 Master’s in Computer Science graduate from the University of Michigan with a strong passion for Math, Machine Learning, and Software Engineering. I’ve always loved learning, and I finished my degrees with a cumulative 3.9 GPA. I will be now working in MAANG as an entry level Software Engineer, AI/ML role.

Hi! I’m Aarya — a 2025 Master’s in Computer Science graduate from the University of Michigan with a strong passion for Math, Machine Learning, and Software Engineering. I’ve always loved learning, and I finished my degrees with a cumulative 3.9 GPA. I will be now working in MAANG as an entry level Software Engineer, AI/ML role.

My tutoring journey started in high school, where I completed the IB Diploma Programme at the top of my class and launched a successful Calculus tutoring service for AP/IB students. Since then, I’ve continued to tutor across Math, Programming, and Physics providing students with tailored exercises/lessons to even last minute help. I’ve also served as course staff at the University of Michigan.

As a tutor, my goal is to build strong foundations, fill in gaps, and help students gain confidence in challenging subjects. I believe learning is most effective when students feel engaged and supported, so I work hard to make every session both productive and enjoyable. Watching students grow is the most rewarding part of what I do.

I have been learning C++ as my primary programming language in college, and have ended up with all As in the various classes such as elementary C++ programming, and data structures and algorithms. Some projects I have created using this language is the card game Euchre, in which up to 4 players can play among each other or play with the computer generated player(s). Additionally, I created an ML program that takes in posts from a school forum called Piazza to train itself, and then is able to categorize new posts according to the posts' subject. I also tutor C++ to students I know, providing sessions and projects for students to apply their knowledge, which has allowed me to gain the experience to teach this language in an easy-to-learn manner.

Aside from many small programs I have made, some projects I have created is the card game Euchre, in which up to 4 players can play among each other or play with the computer generated player(s) written in C++. Additionally, I created an ML program that takes in posts from a school forum called Piazza to train itself, and then is able to categorize new posts according to the posts' subject also written in C++. I also have created a Stock Web Application, in which users are able to simulate buying and selling real time stocks. This was created using languages such as Python (backend), HTML/CSS/JS (frontend), and SQL for managing my database. I also tutor students in languages such as Python and C++, providing sessions and projects for students to apply their knowledge, which has allowed me to gain the experience to teach this language in an easy-to-learn manner.
