For the past twelve years, I have helped to inspire and motivate all learning styles. Not only do I have my undergraduate degree in English and Reading, but I also have my Masters in Educational Leadership, which has enhanced my knowledge in the areas of testing. As an educator, I am incredibly interested in sharing my love of learning with other students who either have the same love as I do or simply need a little encouragement to reaching their goals. Education is simply one of the most rewarding opportunities I have been granted.
I am certified in English and Reading with a strong love for writing. I enjoy teaching eleventh grade students because that means I have the opportunity to prepare them for the ACT. The ACT is stressful and worrisome for many students; seeing that within the students is something that concerns me greatly, hence my strong desire to work with those students. My teaching method is rigorous and fair, as I know what Universities expect of their incoming students. It is imperative that I prepare the students for their next academic chapter of life.
I am flexible and consistent, which means I am willing to work around all schedules. I also teach full-time and have a family, so flexibility, with consistency would be a great, winning combination.
I look forward to hearing from you soon and helping the student reach his/her maximum level of potential!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
