I have 11 years of experience working as an educator at the Elementary level, Middle school, High School and Adult Education. From those 11 years, I have served 9 years as a third grade teacher and one year as a 7th and 8th grade teacher teaching both in Spanish and English. I have taught ESL to adults as well as ESL online to High School students in Korea. I have taught Math, Social Studies, Language Arts, Science, Reading and Writing at the Elementary level. In addition, I have taught adults Spanish as a Second Language as well as English as a Second Language.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
