I've been using SAS for more than 18 years, and SQL for more than 10, in the Automotive, Banking, Insurance and Publishing industries. That's not using those tools incidentally - SAS and SQL have been the day-to-day tools of my entire career - whether delivering statistical analyses, data mining, data management (moving, merging and reshaping data for others to use), or building applications for other business users (on Mainframe, PC, and Unix environments). I'm currently transitioning towards spending 1/2 or more of my time teaching SAS - and offering my knowledge for tutoring is a key step on that path. I'm keeping my rates towards the modest end of the range - I want to teach, not find out what the market can bear.

Steven R. is a wonderful SAS tutor. He is enthusiastic, goal oriented and fun to learn from. I enjoyed my session with him.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
SAS usage (for data management, analytics, statistics, and application development) has been my primary vocation for nearly 20 years. I specialize in Base SAS, STATs, and Macro programming. Since 2011, I've presented papers and held leadership positions at regional SAS conferences for the Midwest and Northeast, as well as presenting at the 2013 SAS Global Forum. I am transitioning towards teaching SAS professionally - helping you understand how to apply SAS to solve problems is important to me!
My career to date has been in Business Intelligence and Analytics, and SQL programming has been one of my primary tools for the last 10 years. The bulk of my SQL experience has been in Oracle databases, but I've also used SQL in SAS, MS Server and Teradata environments. SQL a is terrific, flexible tool that can improve your effectiveness wherever your job requires you to handle and parse database information. I can help you wield SQL well!
