I understand how frustrating it can be when a school can only do so much to help your child exceed. There are some times that they need more attention that the school can't offer. I can help you get the tools you need to get your child back on the right track of succeeding school. I am no expert, but I feel I have what it takes to help your child succeed in the areas of elementary math, science, and reading (at any level). I am currently a stay at home mother of 3 school-aged children that have had their fair share of struggles, especially with reading. I am willing to meet at the library or where the child and I both feel comfortable. I have received my Bachelor's degree, which makes me qualified to substitute teach.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have two Associate degrees and a Bachelor degree. My college education qualifies me to substitute teach in elementary schools in Michigan.
I have helped each of my children with their difficulties in school and they are above grade level in reading and language arts.
I have been working with computers since before I was in junior high (1993). Growing up, my parents and siblings relied on me to teach them how to use the computer and Internet. My parents asked me to put the computer together at home the day we bought it. I can help set up your computer from day one, show you how to use basic computer skills, and even show you how to reformat your computer back to factory standards in order to get rid of any annoying viruses that your anti-virus software can't seem to remove.
I used MS Outlook on a daily basis while serving in the USAF (2001-2007). I don't use it at all now, but I did have to take a course for MS Outlook 2007 through Kellogg Community College. It was very informative, and proved that not much had changed between the older versions and the 2007 version. I received a Microsoft Office Certificate August 2010 from Kellogg Community College. I feel I have enough knowledge to help you with your issues in MS Outlook.
I prefer working with XP, but I do have a laptop at home that has Windows on it. Windows is a very basic computer software. I have taken a course on it through Kellogg Community College only because it was required for a Microsoft Office Specialist Certificate; which I received August 2010. I have enough knowledge and experience to help you work through any problem.
