After I graduated, I worked as clarinet and piano instructors for two years before I came to the State to pursued my second degree in vocal performance in Bowling Green State University. After graduation, I continued my studies in vocal performance in Oakland University and obtained a Master degree. During my pursuit of both degrees, I also studied clarinet and piano as cognate areas.
I am currently working as a voice and clarinet tutor. I love my music teaching jobs since they give me a lot of gratification when I see my students' improvement. I also want to start tutoring Chinese so that I can utilize my bilingual skills to help those who are interested in the Chinese language and culture.
I am a native Cantonese Chinese speaker and I have also attained fluency in Mandarin Chinese. I minored in Mandarin Chinese when I pursued my first Bachelor Degree in Hong Kong
