While current situations have shifted teachers and professors to teach remotely, some for their first time, I have been an online instructor for over 2 years and can help make sure students stay on track with my instruction and help.

I am a competitive mathematics coach for all levels. In high school; I competed in the AMC10/12, AIME, and ARML (as well as other local and online competitions). I gained experience tutoring high schoolers in math and science from a young age due to my memberships in various National Honor Societies.

I work with talented youth program students in middle school and high school; I prepare them for competition mathematics in their level and for the future as well as help them get into college-level classes that will help them stand out even more.

I am available as both an academic advisor and a tutor; I can help in both the short term and long term.

I am also available for help with STEM undergraduate classes for those in undergraduate programs.

Can help with the following subjects: Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, PreCalculus, Calculus AB & BC, and Discrete Math, Number Theory, Combinatorics, AP STEM, Undergraduate STEM (CS, Stats, Math)

Please contact me if you are interested in working together and we can make arrangements! I am available to tutor during the weekdays in the afternoon and evening, and anytime during the weekends.

Experienced AMC/ AIME Tutor!

Phillip is a very organized and experienced tutor. My son took a lesson for the AMC 12/ AIME from him, and he drew out a clear and structured lesson plan to help him gain a higher score. Phillip provided material for practice problems, as well as to learn the underlying concepts of general problems on the competition. Not only did he know how to help in the short term, he was able to structure a long term plan to gain a deeper understanding of competition math. His expertise and background in competition math really show! Hope to keep working with him!
