I am a college freshman living in Albion, Michigan. Although I have no formal tutoring experience, I have worked extensively coaching grade school teams, running sports camps, etc. and thus have established strong leadership skills with students. I have also worked for years in a childcare setting, so I am used to working with children of many ages. In high school, I received a 33 overall score on the ACT, with a 36 (perfect score) in the English portion. I was valedictorian of my class, and through the hard work I put in, have established strong study habits and strategies for approaching schoolwork. I have also spent large amounts of time working with my peers, assisting them with schoolwork, and through this have become adept at tutoring high school students as well as K-8. I am very patient and willing to work hard! My lack of "formal experience" has led me to keep my rates low, and I am open to working with either individual students or groups.
