About Nat

I sincerely love working with kids. Their unique perspective and genuine curiosity inspires my own creativity. I have worked in the special education program at Portsmouth High School, helped direct an elementary after-school program, and coached an all ages basketball camp for over ten years. This wide variety of experience has exposed me to many different students, and allowed me to become comfortable in all situations. I understand that some students require extra attention, or innovative methods of motivation, and I am prepared to create a program that fits those individual needs. I want to give each student the best possible chance to reach their full potential, and I want them to have fun along the way!

I studied music in a conservatory setting for two years at the Hartt School of Music. For the past ten years I have supported myself as a musician. I have traveled to Asia, Australia, Europe, and South America. I have played on the David Letterman Show multiple times. I have played a sold out show at Carnegie Hall, and shared the stage with iconic figures such as David Byrne of the Talking Heads, and Bjork. All of this took many years of hard work, and I feel extremely fortunate to have traveled this path. I think I can offer insight that is truly unique, especially to those students in need of inspiration.

If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
