I have 15 years of experience teaching mathematics and computer science to students of all abilities and backgrounds. My tutoring journey began my first year of college where I regularly assisted my friends and classmates with their math homework outside of class. I enjoyed helping them so much that I applied to an on campus tutoring job and started double majoring in math and education! I spent the remainder of college tutoring students in math while studying to become a math teacher.

Immediately after college, I became a full time mathematics and computer science teacher. I taught students for 11 years in a variety of subject areas, but specialized in Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, and AP Computer Science. I spent over a year of this time teaching 100% online and became very comfortable teaching through a computer. I immensely enjoy helping students build understanding by supplying solid explanations and examples with increasing complexity to help students master difficult concepts.
