Dear future student,

I scored 34 on the old MCAT grading system and have passed USMLE Steps 1 and 2 CK with flying colors (244, 224 respectively). I enjoy tutoring because I get to provide real help to people as they pursue their goals. I also appreciate the challenges of listening well, assigning appropriate work, and giving reasonable and memorable explanations.

I teach "to the test" but in a way that the student builds her fundamental knowledge.

Please contact me to find out more! I am in Mid-Coast Maine and can travel south to Portland, north to Augusta, and many other places!

Very helpful.

Laura worked with my 10 year old daughter in math. We were visiting Maine for the summer and didn't want our daughter to lose her math momentum going into 5th grade. Laura helped get her back up to speed and showed her some new methods. Laura was patient, kind, gentle and soft spoken. My daughter responded wonderfully to her temperament and teaching methods.
