Hello, My name is Marian G, I am a retired teacher who taught Grades K and 1 for 17 years. I also taught 5th grade and tutored in grades k to 6. Many of my students were English Language Learners. I have a love of reading that I would enjoy sharing with any age student. I spent 15 years at home with my four children, who each grew and learned in their own unique ways.

I have a love of reading that I would enjoy sharing with any age student. I spent 15 years at home with my four children, who each grew and learned in their own unique ways.

I always enjoyed the logic of mathematics. It is my pleasure to help students grasp the patterns and wonder that can be found in a simple math equation. I also think it is important to establish a comprehensive Math vocabulary that will assist students as they advance in their Math education.

I have always had a love of reading. Children who can read and understand books will embrace education in whatever area of life they choose. I have taken several writing classes at the college level which have helped me in daily journaling, as well as creating several children's books. Grammar has become a little lost in schools in the last few decades, but I feel in is important for students to know the basis of the English language. This will help their communications skills as they mature.

Please contact me as a student or a parent who wants extra help with school work or homework. We can read and talk about books or figure out a tough math problem. I am looking forward to meeting you.
