About Adam

I am a practicing Attorney and City Councilor. I graduated from the University of Texas with a B.A. In American History and cum laude from Vermont Law School with a Juris Doctorate. I was an All-American Debater in College, taught communications at the University of Rochester and was selected by my peers to deliver the commencement speech at my Law School graduation.

I am hoping to utilize these skills to help you or your student through one-on-one tutoring sessions focused specifically on the particular student's needs. I have unique skills to teach public speaking and writing, can assist in subject specific categories such as Reading, Writing, English, Geography, History, Government and various other Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, and can craft a one-on-one strategy to help achievement on the SAT, ACT, LSAT and Bar Exam. I look forward to tailoring a unique strategy for your student!

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Bar Exam

I was a cum laude graduate of Vermont Law School. I have been a practicing attorney for 7+ years. I implemented a self-study program, not utilizing a commercial prep course and passed the BAR on my first try.
