My name is Jonathan and I have master’s degree in finance and bachelor degree in accounting. I am also a Certified Chartered Accountant which is an equivalent of Certified Public Accountant (CPA). I currently work at Webster University as an MBA professional tutor. I have been teaching all accounting, finance, statistical and economic courses at Webster University since 2011.
My teaching model is explaining complex concepts in the aforementioned courses by using practical industry analogies. I have a vast knowledge about economic and financial world aiding my ability to simplify complex concepts to students. Knows subject matter- Make sure to ask questions so he will explain. If you don't, he will assume you know it. All of our sessions have been in the evenings, so he will make sure you get into your car safely ( without asking) - Which is always a good thing.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
