Hello, I am Rudmila. I had tutoring experience when I was in Bangladesh. I have taught students of 12-15 years of age. I have taught pre-algebra and geometry. I usually try to evaluate my students. I try to understand what problems they face during solving a mathematical problem. I do not expect my students to be smart from the beginning. I really try to explain a problem from the basic concepts whether the student is smart or not. I believe some students do not like to share their problems with the teachers. So, I always try to be clear about what I am explaining.
I will help my students to finish their school assignments, but I will give them some extra home-works if I feel they are having problems in particular topics. I want the parents to inform me about the schedule of tests and home-works of the school a little bit early, so that I can make a schedule for myself. That will help me to prepare how I am going to teach that student.I will give the students exams which can be taken either in front of me or at home. I will try to give them worksheets, from time to time by e-mail.
I really love those students who ask lots of questions. If they don't understand any particular topic or problem, they can ask me about it several times. I won't get impatient.
Last of all, I really want my students to shake off the fear of math. I can guarantee any weak student that math becomes really easy and enjoyable after anyone gains a confidence in it. If anyone comes to learn from me, it becomes my responsibility to develop that confidence inside that person. Hello, I am Rudmila. I had tutoring experience when I was in Bangladesh. I couldn't ask for a better tutor. My daughter was completely failing math the last quarter of school and with the help of Rudmila my daughter was able to pass the 7th grade with a grade C. Rudmila is a very informative teacher and very accurate with her information. She will go the extra mile to help with out charging any extra expensives. She's always on time with her lessons and stays late when needed. She has a great personality and I appreciate the information and advice you have given to me about my daughter, as well as the connections you have shared with me. Your expertise and help have been invaluable during this process. Thank you so much for helping my daughter this year in Math. You're tutoring made such an improvement and a difference in her life, and as you go on to do bigger and better things, remember that. I think you're a wonderful person and young adult. I am very satisfied and anyone who would choose you as their tutor would be extremely satisfied with the outcome.
Hats off to Rudmila R.
Thank you so much for a lovely feedback.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
