I am a native speaker of English as well as a certified ESL teacher with over 12 years of experience. Many teachers know to teach, but they don't know how to make an English lesson EXCITING for the student! So, if you are looking to learn English in a unique way that engages your thinking skills and your imagination, then your search for the right teacher is over. I will show you how to "think" like a native speaker of English instead of just how to "copy" a native speaker.
Like other teachers, I teach reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, and vocabulary, but in an exciting way that actually INSPIRES you to learn English! My objective is to teach you how to THINK in English, so that you can respond confidently to a difficult communication situation even when I am not there to help you. Learning English is about more than just learning grammar; you must have a good "command" (an intelligent understanding) of the language to achieve your goals in the United States.
However, you should know that it takes a lot of time for me to prepare a learning program for each person. Therefore, I can only tutor a very small number of students at any given time. So, don't wait! Contact me today to find out how I can help you on your journey to master English! In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
