I did my undergraduate in India in the year 1993. The subjects were Chemistry and Botany with Zoology honors. I did my MS in Zoology with Biochemistry as a specialization. I did my Doctoral research in the Molecular Biology field. The thesis was entitled "Molecular Markers of Acute Leukemia with special reference to p53." I completed my PhD in the year 2004 with five international publications in journals such as Oncology report, Biochemical Biophyscical research Communication (BBRC), and American journal of Hematology.
During graduate school I got an opportunity to teach MS students both theory and practical aspects of Biotechnology. In the year 2005, I came to the United States to start my postdoctoral research at the National Institute of Health (NIH) by getting a fellowship. Then I did two years of postdoc at the Food and Drug administration (FDA), one year at Georgetown University (Washington DC), and two years at St Jude Children's research Hospital in the field of Immunology. At present, I am doing my postdoctoral research in Breast cancer at Hampton University in Virginia.
So, with lots of research experience (more than 13 years) and teaching experience, I am qualified to teach students from the undergraduate to graduate level.
