I have a PhD in Biology Health and Science from the University of Limoges (France). I bring to my students a true passion for Biology, Science and Math supported by more than a decade of real life field experiences. That allows me to easily build activities to make my instruction fun and attractive. Also, having been a professional in the field, I am very much aware of career paths and of what it really means to be a scientist. Finally, being trilingual (fluent in English, French and Spanish) and used to work in diverse areas, I am very flexible and can adapt quickly to a wide variety of situations. I believe everyone can and deserve to learn and that every hurdle can be passed when provided with the right methods and help.
I also bring 5 plus years of experience tutoring ES students, teenagers and adults in French. Whether you need help for an assignment or want to refresh your knowledge that should not be a problem. The grammar rules were explained following a perfect logic which made things easy to understand and assimilate. I am looking forward to my next lesson!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
