Prior and during my college education I took pre-algebra, algebra, geometry and trigonometry classes, where I received no lower than a score of 85% which equals out to an B-plus average. With these scores, I am qualified to assist students attain success in math. I taught these subjects after graduation from college in the Prince George's County Public School System for two years. With this background, I am sure I can assist your child achieve success.
My experience as a tutor began in high-school, where I worked with peers who needed assistance with math. I was employed as tutor with the New York City Board of education. This work was done throughout my high-school career from grades nine through twelve. While in college I was employed as a director of an Upward Bound Program, a college preparatory program, where we assisted students who planned to attend college.

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
