Dr. Albert T. is an active orchestral composer with over 45 works and a conductor of more than 24 symphony orchestras, chamber orchestras, symphonic winds, vocal, choral and instrumental ensembles. He has recently completed a concerto commission called Statements for the Boston Symphony orchestra and has been the assistant conductor of the Pittsburgh Opera. Currently writing an opera, a ballet and chamber works, he is equally involved in the private education of music students to prepare them for serious collegiate and graduate studies. Dr. T. has held the position of principal trumpet in more than 24 Symphony orchestras,symphonic bands and chamber ensembles. He has been a music professor and chair in universities, colleges and conservatories and is also in demand as a consultant to music departments. Dr. T. is a Juilliard professor with additional advanced degrees in composition, conducting, performance and education, from Columbia University.

Lessons are a minimum of one hour, but often may run over depending upon the material covered. The fee remains the same and is by lesson and not by clock time. Please know that Rhythmical Articulation and Tonal Solfeggio are included in every lesson. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Ear Training is a requirement for all my lessons. I have taught ear Training for over 25 years to young adults and adults
