I have volunteered at a Super kids. Super Kids is a Camp that teach children who are behind to reach the appropriate level. In the camp they taught math and English. The math was basic addition, subtracting, and word problems. I also volunteered at a Kennedy Krieger Institute. This institute provides education to children with special needs. I worked in a class with six children. They had ADHD, which made it difficult for them to concentrate. I had the job of helping the students with their multiplication tables, LCM, GCF and word problems. In one month, all the students were confident with their multiplication up to 12.

I am now at Towson University, where I am learning to become and Early Childhood Educator. In this major, I learn the different levels of math and ways of teaching it. I also learn what is an appropriate way of teaching and the different forms of teaching. I also, for the major, observed children at a school to see how they behave and learn different subjects. I was also taught how to make appropriate lesson plans to help with the child's strength and weakness.

I am currently taking multiple Math courses centered on Elementary classes. I have an A in them all currently. I am firm with the history of geometry, different ways of adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. I can help a student solve word problems, using different models. Show a concept to a child in different forms.

I was born in the French part of Switzerland. French was my first language. I complete up to level 5 in High school. Did the AP test and SAT II for French and got a 4 for the AP and a 36 on the SAT II. I also participate in the French National test and was ranked 15 in the whole Maryland and 18 in the USA.

I am currently taking Computer Science classes. I have an A in the class. I helped, summer classes to elder people to understand the concept. I understand fully how to do math on Excel and add animation to Presentation. Also about hardware and software. Different storage devices. To to format an excel sheet, adding headers and footers.

In elementary school and middle, I had some trouble with math. However thanks to my parents and tutors I was able to graduate both and high school and get to University. So if you are an individual who has trouble in a subject, do not ignore it, ask for help from your parents, friends and teachers.
