During the past 10 years, I have worked in a wide variety of educational settings with students with various disabilities at multiple levels. Throughout that time I have developed multi-sensory lesson plans to meet the needs of auditory, visual, tactile, and kinesthics learners and incorporated various forms of technology, learning centers, and manipulatives to teach new concepts. My skills in differentiated instruction, assistive technology, and multi-sensory lesson planning allow me to meet the needs of every student. I am experienced in conducting day-to-day classroom curriculum activities, holding parent/guardian meetings, and coordinating with co-worker and other educational professionals.

It is my goal to combine my range of experience and leadership skills with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution. My years of experience have taught me the value of patience and encouragement in the special education classroom.

Great tutor

Sara G. is an excellent tutor. She was very patient with my 8 year old daughter and she has really progressed with her reading skills. She enjoys reading and is more confident in sounding out her words. Sara has done a fabulous job tutoring my daughter. I am glad I chose WyzAnt to find a tutor.
