You may read the standard resume information later on in this response, but, I'm the old guy who knows the value of an education. Picture yourself sitting in a classroom and the student sitting next to you has already read the chapter. He or she asks questions about topics he or she doesn't understand. He or she does well on homework, does well on exams and probably earns an "A." You don't read the chapter, sit in class bored and wind up with a "C" if you're lucky. Which of the two...

Which of the two students will wind up as the boss, who enjoys himself or herself and earns a decent amount of money. I'm the guy who will work his tail off to get you that "A."

I've done my share of entertaining in movies and plays. I even saved Nicole Kidman's life in a movie years ago. I'm the guy who got the Golden Goose out of the cage where he was held in Children's Theatre, also years ago . I'm the person who wants to earn that Oscar or Tony for every session we meet.

At the end of last semester, I asked my students to write down five adjectives that describe me. Out of 120 students, fifteen replied. There were about twenty-five adjectives. Here are the adjectives submitted more than once - honest, kind, caring, smart, funny (a lot), passionate, down to earth, dedicated and wise.

I'm quite familiar with McGraw - Hill texts and Connect and Pearson's texts and My Accounting Lab, as well as others.

If you were sitting in my class right now (there are usually forty - the maximum number). I would tell you to read the book and ask questions. I know that students work and sometimes can't devote the time and energy to school. I know that accounting can be tedious and boring. I know accounting can be completely confusing to students. I have a daughter. We spent and entire Thanksgiving Holiday covering liabilities of a company. She was thankful for the "B" she earned. I'm helping you earn that "B" or "A."

I've never done this tutoring before but I imagine I will tutor you in the same way I conducted my class, except there is just you and me. Yes, I will try really hard to win my Oscar. I'm open to most times.

I have my Masters in Business from University of Maryland (rated twenty - eight in importance in the country), roughly twenty-five years of public accounting experience with Price Waterhouse Coopers and an upstate New York regional public accounting firm with audit clients in the paper equipment design, construction and installing industry, banks including Glens Falls National Bank in New York, the International Monetary Fund in Washington DC, nursing homes in New York, law firms in Washington, DC and an international political fund - the Organization of American States, among others. I've audited IBM's Space System Division in Huntsville, Alabama The other twenty-five years I've spent in private accounting. I have been the chief financial officer for a New York and Florida based theatrical scenery company grossing $4,000,000 in sales annually, the legal administrator of a Patent Law Firm in Washington, D.C. grossing $2,000,000 in revenue each year.

I've been the chief financial officer, president and owner of a Washington D.C. based printing and mailing services company grossing $6,000,000 every year.

I've climbed and skied on the mountains in Montana and have gone down 140 feet when I do my SCUBA diving in the Caribbean and Pacific Ocean..
