I enjoy taking reluctant or anxious students and showing them how fun English can be. It doesn't matter what age they are, I work hard at figuring out a way to help them easily absorb the material. I have had a lot of success getting the information across in nontraditional ways, but ways that sink in.
Full attendance at 8 am College English classes count as testimony to my abilities to making learning fun. Students would work to get placement into my class, but that never meant an easy "A". Students worked to earn their own grades, but actually had fun doing it, making my job actually a lot easier. Students leave with more than a sense of English, but with a confident curiosity to help them with learning other subjects.
Passionate about the fun behind learning, I have years of experience, almost unlimited resources and equipment, and a myriad of proven techniques. I give 100 percent effort into the task of communicating and getting both instructor and student understood. It would be an honor to share the experience.
My experience included five years of teaching college English for the National Security Agency and ten years teaching for Stevenson University, as well as teaching teachers how to get the most out of the classroom. I am very familiar with computer online courseware and learning systems as well as the technology behind computer communication.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
