Steve is an incredible tutor. He is prompt, insightful, and extremely helpful. The fundamentals I failed to grasp in the beginning weeks of the semester, Steve was able to explain and have me demonstrate in only a few hours. He saved my semester.
Steve has a thorough understanding of coding in Java. He is a nice guy and will help with any problems, questions, or assignments you may have. This guy will go above and beyond to make sure you understand. I would definitely recommend him.
My son was in need of a tutor for his high school computer science class in Java programming. Steve worked very well with my son and was extremely flexible with his schedule. In advance of a test, Steve would make an effort to rearrange his schedule to be available for last minute tutoring. Steve really knows his stuff! We have been very pleased.
Steve is a great tutor. Had him for JAVA and he is very patient, detailed and also reasonably priced and very knowledgeable in the subject. I was very pleased with his service and would recommend him to anyone needing help with JAVA.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Java is a programming language originally developed by James Gosling at Sun Microsystems. It derives a lot of its syntax from C and C++ but has a simpler object model and fewer low-level facilities than either of the two.
Java applications are typically compiled to bytecode which can run on any Java Virtual Machine (JVM) regardless of computer architecture. Java is a general-purpose, class-based, object-oriented language which is specifically designed to have as few implementation dependencies as possible. It is intended to let application developers "write once, run anywhere" meaning that code that runs on one platform does not need to be recompiled to run on another.
