I have been a tutor for quite some time now; since my sophomore year at Baltimore City Community College (BCCC), where I started as a private tutor for mainly all Chemistry courses, from General to Orgo. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I graduated from the UMBC with B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology just this past May, so I feel I am the right candidate to tutor the subject. I have also been a tutor for this class since the end of last year.
I have been a tutor for Organic Chemistry courses since my Sophomore year at the BCCC. I have also just graduated from the UMBC with B.S in Biochemistry and Molecular biology. Lastly, I've also gained so much experience in Organic Chemistey from taking other courses that have Organic Chemistry backbone such Mechanisms of Organic Chemistry, as my upper elective course.
