ADHD

I have taught and tutored students with IEP's in middle school, high school, and even college. Currently, about half of my students have IEP's. I have taken special education courses and workshops. I have a lot of experience working with ADHD kids. I know that if they are on medicine, there are certain times they perform better. Also, they need to keep both their minds and hands busy when learning. They often need redirection as well.

A Wonderful Tutor

Karen has been a wonderful tutor. She was able to quickly understand my son and his needs. She tailored her classes so that he worked hard and at the same time was able to boost his confidence.

Excellent Tutor

Karen has been working with my middle schooler on writing, grammar and building her vocabulary. She is very patient and thorough in her approach. My daughter is very comfortable working with her and is applying strategies and knowledge from Karen in her school and external exam studies.

Nicola, 5 lessons with Karen

Nice tutor

It was my first session with Karen and we discussed GED methodology for testing and subject areas that might be covered. She was interested in assessing my needs as a first step in this process.
