Rowan University (Chemistry)
My name is Ross and I am a chemist for West-Ward Pharmaceuticals in Cherry Hill, NJ and currently live in Galloway, NJ. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Rowan University where I also did research on bioethanol fuels made from E. Coli digesting corn stalks. I've had a passion for chemistry since high school where I was an AP Chemistry student and I am familiar with how difficult the class is as well as the AP test. Having been through it all I enjoy helping others through the same parts that I have had difficulty with and being able to share my experience. Most people are intimidated by the word chemistry, but given the proper explanations it is not as big and bad as everyone believes at first.
Other than being a chemist I am also an EMT for Galloway Township Ambulance Squad, a volunteer firefighter with Bayview Fire Company, and a HazMat technician with the Atlantic County HazMat Team. I always enjoy a challenge and driving others to success as there is no other better feeling in the world than conquering something you did not think possible.
On most weeks I am available Tuesday through Friday any time after 3:30 in Cherry Hill and other South Jersey areas depending on the driving time. I am also flexible on the weekends, but will need several days notice in order to ensure I am free. I keep my time very well scheduled and with pre-planning can make most times work. Feel free to contact me with any questions!

Ross taught me a lot about chemistry I never would've understood with out him. He's always on time and very patient. He helped me pass my first college chem class!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Rowan University. In addition, I have taken organic chemistry 1 and 2, polymer chemistry, fragrance chemistry, and organic seminar courses. During that time I assisted many other students with the material including stereochemistry and reaction mechanisms.
