I am very proficient in tutoring reading and all areas of math. Throughout high school and my college education, I have excelled in these areas. I graduated from an engineering magnet program in high school, and took as many AP classes as possible. I have volunteered and participated in many clubs in high school. I enjoy helping out the community and working with students. I have the background, basic skills, strategies, and tips for any student to succeed in their classes.
I have tutored at an Elementary school in Daytona Beach. There I taught at the math intervention center K through 5th. Then I helped out in first grade with all subjects. I also do volunteer tutoring for disadvantaged children at Family Services Inc.
I want my students to do the best in their classes. I am very flexible, dedicated and pursue an individualized curriculum for each student no matter what their age. I will not only address their current problems, but also will go through and help master the past concepts underlying the problem. I am very organized, and make sure to thoroughly communicate with the parents as well as the student. I look forward to working with you and helping you become successful in your endeavors.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
