In terms of written language I have a gift for editing with revision and enjoy working on writing topics with students using research based techniques. One of my accomplishments was to teach a 13 year old struggling emerging reader to read. I have often had the desire to start a reading clinic for students.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have worked with students with ADD/ADHD for approximately 20 years and have a great deal of strategies to help students with attention problems complete tasks and learn. I was a master teacher on a treatment team at a learning institution in Maryland for students with disabilities. I continue to work as an author for an online data course as a curriculum author for special needs students. It is my lifelong passion to help strengthen my community through education.

I've created a simple scheduling method that allows for busy individuals to create study time and how to study important information relating to class assessments.
