Princeton University (Economics)
To Whom It May Concern,
My name is James B., and I am a prospective tutor for you. On a part-time basis, I offer my tutoring services in several subjects such as economics, Spanish, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and SAT Math. I believe that my background and experiences highlight my qualifications as someone who can fulfill all of your tutoring needs.
I went to Princeton University and graduated in 2009. From the University, I earned a degree in Economics and a certificate in Spanish Language & Culture. The coursework I completed in economics was math-intensive and required a strong mathematical background, particularly in areas including multivariable calculus and linear algebra. These academic experiences have provided me with a solid foundation in several subject areas that would be useful in any tutoring environment. For those who are interested in my SAT Math tutoring services, I earned a perfect score on the math section of the SAT examination and fully understand what it takes to succeed on this examination.
Beyond my qualifications, I am a dedicated, diligent individual who will work to meet your needs in whatever goal you may be pursuing, and it would be my pleasure and honor to work with you on one of the aforementioned subjects. If you are interested in contacting me, please do so through WyzAnt's communication tools and services. Thank you for considering me as your potential tutor.
Have a nice day.

James came readily prepared for our first session. Although it was his first time tutoring statistics, he seemed very knowledgeable of the subject. He used "real-time" practical examples that enabled me to have a better understanding of the material. The first session was longer than I anticipated because we had to do an overview for my understanding. He also helped me prepare for my mid-term exam. I look forward to my next session with James.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
