I have been living in the area for more than 10 years and currently teach English as a Second Language at Howard Community College. I have lived and traveled extensively abroad, through Central America, Europe and parts of the Middle East. I received my Master's degree in Applied Linguistics, with a specialization in English as a Second Language, while studying and teaching abroad in Tel Aviv, Israel. I attended an extension program through the University of Liverpool. Now I enjoy teaching students who are eager to communicate in their daily lives.

I strive to provide exciting and fun lesson plans to engage my students. I want my students to look forward to coming to class everyday!

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students.
