I currently work as a Professional Engineer in the field of Civil Engineering. I am licensed in the State of New Jersey where I work remotely via my new home in Maryland. My love of math since I was young helped me realize back in the 6th grade that I wanted to become an engineer. In elementary school, I used to help all of my friends through our math courses and eventually became a tutor after school as well.

As I progressed through college, I ended up tutoring again where I was able to help a lot of students through many different levels of mathematics, both in college-level courses and occasionally back home again for family friends still in High School. Being so proficient in math myself, I tend to be more patient with my students and absolutely love when my tutoring starts to take effect. There's no better feeling than your student realizing that they just needed an extra hand to help the math click in their own heads.

I ended up completing my Master's in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Geotechnical Engineering and took the Geotechnical Engineering portion of the Professional Engineering exam. Because of this, I have a great understanding of soil mechanics, foundation design, and other geotechnical engineerings courses. My everyday work involves land and site development, which has given me a more thorough understanding of water resources courses and a deep understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D.

I've been looking for something fulfilling to do with my free time; having had such a great time tutoring math in the past, I'm really looking forward to meeting new students and helping share my math knowledge and skills.
