I have been teaching middle school and high school students to be successful in various entrance tests like ISEE. I teach them the subject knowledge and study skills required to do their best in those tests. Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE)is an entrance exam used by mostly non-parochial independent schools. It has 3 levels of tests: - Lower level for students in grades 4 and 5. Test time is 2 hours 20 minutes. - Middle level for students in grades 6 and 7. Test time is 2 hours 40 minutes. - Upper Level for students in grades 8 through 11. Test time is 2 hours 40 minutes. ISEE consists of 3 parts: - verbal and quantitative reasoning test - reading comprehension and mathematics achievement - essay section which is not scored but sent to school

I teach students of all three levels of SSAT: • Elementary (for students currently in grades 3-4) • Middle (for students currently in grades 5-7) • Upper (for students currently in grades 8-11) I help students improve their scores in all sections of SSAT. Quantitative (math) - Tests your ability to solve problems involving arithmetic, basic algebra and geometry, and concepts. Verbal - Tests your vocabulary, verbal reasoning, and ability to relate ideas logically. Reading comprehension - Tests your ability to understand what you read. Writing Sample - Your essay is not graded, but a copy is sent to schools or consultant.
