Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Chemistry

I'm currently a researcher at the National Cancer Institute and an Adjunct Faculty member at Montgomery College. I have taught highly varied college general chemistry courses (introductory, for majors, and for engineers) at three different institutions. As you can see from this list of experiences, I believe that I can provide a constructive and successful opportunity to facilitate learning in any student. I have always considered myself highly approachable and can enable you to succeed.

Organic Chemistry

I'm currently a researcher at the National Cancer Institute and an Adjunct Faculty member at Montgomery College. I have been tutoring for a long time, starting as a undergraduate, through graduate school as a Teaching Assistant, and then as a Professor or Instructor at several universities. I have even been the temporary head of a community college's Math and Science Tutoring Center and helped train groups of tutors. As you can see from this list of experiences, I believe that I can provide a constructive and successful opportunity to facilitate learning in any student. I have always considered myself highly approachable and can enable you to succeed.
