I’m a native Korean speaker and can readily explain the intricacies and subtleties of the language. As an experienced language instructor for many years in Korea and the U.S., I understand the process of language acquisition thoroughly. I was a full-time Korean Instructor for US Army. I am in the process of Korean Teacher’s Certificate. I will be soon a certified Korean teacher. I have been teaching Korean for 20 years. I am a devoted teacher. In my whole life, I have been involved in education and teaching. I also have a plethora of gifts and talents to offer, teaching wise. Patience is the one virtue that describes me as a successful teacher.
I was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. I have over 20 years of tutoring experience working with a wide range of students from pre-K to adults.
My lessons will be fun & practical. I teach speaking, writing, and grammar at all levels with very flexible methods. I utilize textbooks, games, popular songs and news articles to meet your individual needs and interests.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have been playing guitar for 30 years.
I also have teaching experience for 10 years.
I studied music and have a Bachelor of Music degree and master's degree in music.
In college, I also trained for teaching and took many education classes. I have the science teacher's certificate, I am able to teach science to sixth through twelfth graders. A Science Teacher’s Certificate proves that I am a devoted teacher.
Throughout my life, I have acquired many years of experience in teaching. From 1999 to 2003, I taught Korean in Korean Schools located in Texas and Kentucky. I also have been teaching Korean in Fort Bragg Military Base (Military Language Institute) for about two and half year. Teaching at the Corp. has been a great experience for me. Even though I am not a soldier in the US military, I feel that teaching Korean is a way for me to contribute to the American society. I believe God has set me on the path to teach Korean to soldiers, and if I receive this teaching job, I will work to the best of my ability.
I received a lot of language instructors' training from the military language institute.
I am Korean native speaker and can speak English well.
I studied vocal music in Korea. I have a bachelor's degree in Music performance.
I also have a Master of Music degree from Southwest Baptist Theological Seminary.
I have been teaching voice and opera music for 20 years.
I have work experience of professional singing on the stage. I was paid for singing.
