Every child is different, every student learns at a different pace and in different ways. I never teach the same way to each child, instead I get to know your student and make sure to teach to them, not at them. I am currently an adjunct professor with CCBC. Day-of cancellations will be charged 100%. I'm sorry, but I cannot reschedule more work in such a short period of time. If this is a swimming client, the rates are $30 per half hour.
Gregory N is a fantastic tutor. Although we are not going forward with more lessons for financial reasons, we appreciated his review of where my daughter was and the pointers for future study. I wish we had the means for more lessons. We will call him in the future though! Thank you.
I met with Gregory to clear up some difficulties I was having in my college-level math classes. He was professional, amiable and made himself available when I needed him. This availability issue has plagued my relationships with other tutors so it was nice to finally meet someone at a time which fit into my own hectic schedule. Once we met, it was clear he understood the topic and he helped me to better understand it as well. I would recommend him to all levels of math students.
Gregory was very patient and fun to work with, he was very adaptive to my special needs and anxiety in studying for the GED. Highly recommend him.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
