Hi. I have been in math and science most of my academic career, but have always enjoyed English and history so sometimes I can even help with those. I am very patient and like to find a way to make each student understand where they need to get help. I can help in all kinds of math, and chemistry. I currently teach AP Chemistry so I can help with first year chemistry as well. Nothing makes me happier than to realize that I have helped someone to understand something that was completely confusing to them.

Linda worked with my daughter to help her get ready for her Chemistry mid-term. She said that Linda taught her more in 2 hours than she had learned in half a year of class. Now we know where to go for help! Thanks so much.
We have been extremely pleased with the help Linda P. has provided for our student. She is very patient, willing to explain in ways our student can understand, and re-explain things if our student has difficulty. She is very flexible and easily accessible. She is easy to talk to and understands the material well but can explain it in "plain English." She is full of suggestions for how to help manage a significant workload and a challenging class for our student. We highly recommend Linda P. as a chemistry tutor!
Linda was a very helpful tutor. She quickly caught on to my learning style and worked with me to better understand the material. She would also show me different ways to work out problem so that they made more sense. Her schedule is pretty flexible and I highly recommend her as a chemistry tutor. :)
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
