About Chenfu

I graduated from the best university in Taiwan (National Taiwan University) with M.S. degree in electrical engineering and then got my PhD in applied math from Brown University.

I taught undergraduate/graduate courses at Brown University and UCLA for various subjects such as probability theory, nonlinear control systems, and optimal stochastic control theory. As a retiree, now I work as a tutor at Howard Community College and as a substitute teacher at public school systems.

Since that I know the subjects very well, I can explain the essential concept and methods clearly to students. I normally spend time to train students how to solve problems as well as how to get answers.

I am a very patient person and like to work with different age people.

If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
