I'm currently enrolled in the University of Maryland, College park. And double majoring in piano performance and education with a focus on the Chinese language. Being a competitively trained pianist since age 4, I am well aware of the process of classical training, especially when starting from a young age, and have developed the most efficient way of piano teaching while bringing out the styles of piano performance tailored to every individual student.
And growing up in China until age 11, I am truly bilingual as I continued my passion for Chinese as I moved to the States. Aside from the technical aspects of the language, I will be able to provide you with all the cultural aspects of the language if you ever wish to explore the language in depth, and would like to expand your professional career in China. As I believe that being accustomed to a country is just as important as learning its language.
