It is always my goal to make sure that my students leave with a knowledge and understanding of how Illustrator and Photoshop can best serve their needs while they are in class and when they leave my class.
My approach is simple, clear and concise. I usually like to show students a finished product so that they get of sense of what it is that I am looking for in their artwork. Next, I simply break a project down into parts that outline a specific skill set. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
