My name is Alyssa, and I am a 19 year old 2010 Walt Whitman graduate. I first came into tutoring during my sophomore year of high school and I enjoyed every second of it. I always was very math-oriented and I also speak 3 different languages so I figured- how can I put my knowledge to good use? In the summer of 2011, I created my own tutoring company and I brought a fun and easy-going environment to my students. Thank you so much for visiting my page and I hope to hear from you very soon!

As the eldest child between my brother and I, I had to teach him the basics: adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. I taught him his times tables and how to use basic counting/grouping principles as well
