I can help you bring your ideas into the world through clearer, confident writing.
For my bachelor’s degree, I chose a selective liberal arts college, where I worked in the college writing center as a tutor. Subsequently, I attended a major public research university, earning a Ph.D. in U.S. History and working as both a T.A. and an instructor.
More recently, I have focused on college admissions. I worked for a large public university this last admissions cycle, reviewing and rating freshman college applications. In addition, I have been advising high school students one-on-one with first-generation and minority students in a college access program. I have helped them make schedules and keep to them; shape their college lists based on their academic records and personal preferences; strategize essay topics and revise subsequent drafts; fill out the common application; and apply for financial aid. (So far this year, students I worked with on a regular basis were admitted to at least 26 different colleges.)
Whether you are trying to get into school, or write high-quality papers once you’re in, I will work with you to make that process go more smoothly.
