In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
ADD/ADHD related therapy requires specific structured activities, mindfulness strategies, impulse control methods and positive reinforcements.

I have six years of working with ADD/ADHD patients and clients, including two years at Johns Hopkins Hospital Pediatric Psychiatry where we enforced PBIS - Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports program. I can work with you to tackle specific obstacles when enduring attention related, boredom related, or hyperactivity related challenges.
I have worked with clients who required vocational counseling. They needed both the motivation to go out and look for jobs and the strategy to create and build a resume.
