Oliver earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University and a B.S. from Tufts University with a double major in Chemical Engineering and Mathematics, alongside a minor in Mandarin Chinese. Oliver is also a native French speaker and proficient in Spanish.

Oliver knows that traditional schooling formats, especially online and remote settings, don't give every student the attention and personalized learning experience they deserve. Oliver is committed to providing lessons, study planning, and goal-setting for their students that meets each student where they are at. Oliver is excited to help students from diverse backgrounds and experiences build a strong foundation for lifelong learning while improving course grades, enhancing test scores, and generally building positive, healthy study habits. Oliver is aware that each student's emotional well-being is vital to their academic success and tries to take a holistic approach to education that doesn't elevate test scores above student wellness, but sees the two as intertwined.

Oliver has an outstanding record with standardized mathematics exams (SAT, GRE, AP, etc.), even competing in math competitions in High School. As an undergrad Oliver fed their passion for math by adding a second major in the subject, and they continued to learn advanced mathematics in their PhD studies. As a PhD student, Oliver was the teaching assistant for a graduate level mathematics coursed designed for Chemical Engineering PhD students. Oliver's teaching and tutoring experience also includes pro-bono tutoring of middle school students in math.

I completed a PhD at Drexel University in Chemical Engineering with a 3.97/4.0 grade point average. As an undergraduate, my GPA within my Chemical Engineering major was a 3.82/4.0. As a PhD student, I prioritized teaching and mentoring, serving as a teaching assistant for 3 undergraduate- and 3 graduate-level Chemical Engineering courses. My students noted in course feedback surveys that my fun, energetic teaching style helped them learn, that my flexibility around scheduling was always appreciated, and that my extra exam review sessions greatly improved their scores.
